Resting In The Lord - Lisa Patterson

Our subject today is "Resting In The Lord." Heb. 4:11 To rest (surrender completely).Enter into a deeper place of rest so He can do that which He is doing in us. We get so discouraged by God trying to do for Him or what we think He wants.
Workers of iniquity because it's their works and not His.It does not count on what we've done. Vs.10 says who has entered into His rest has ceased from weariness and pain. We need to be delivered from man made religion and a false word we have received over us or a heaviness over us. The Lord is healing us right now. Surgery is needed to cleanse us out and purify our hearts back to the Father. He doesn't want us in bondage. We are not to worry about ANYTHING!!
The Lord said, " Let me love you like I want to. The enemy is scattered and shattered abroad. He won't abuse you like before. but you must still stand on fertile ground to keep him away. Be sharp to hear my voice and know I'm speaking to you. Don't let the enemy speak to you or use you. Cover your family with the blood."
We pay the price to serve Him. Live the Deeper life God has for you9resting in Him).
Letting it all go. We must be broken for God. The enemy is trying to wear us out.
The Lord loves us so much that he put Angels around us and guards to protect us.
There is a wall of protection all around His people and we don't need to let it go by doing our on thing and expecting God to let us have our way. Even in Ministry He expects us to obey at all times. Not just when we feel like it. You can rest is him if you know Him and study the Word on a daily basis. He requires us to let down our guards and have faith that he will take care of us and not let us go.
When you fall in love with Jesus there will be a passion to be with Him. You will not have to learn it! When you are born again the incorruptable seed lives in you even if you live like the world. But you will not have fun at it.

Ways Of Knowing God - Lisa Patterson

Our subject today is Ways Of Knowing God. Heb. 5:14 Spiritual senses. God leads in a simple format. He won't let it be hard to hear but it's hard to listen. Obedience makes you successful. Acts 16:6.
Jeremiah 18 prophecy is conditional. God does change His mind if you disobey. Timing is conditional to prophecy. I Cor. 13:9 must have peace about prophesying and have an inner witness. Acts 13 says prophecy needs to have a sign to it from a Word of Knowledge. The secrets of your heart are a sign. You attitude plays the most important part. Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things will be added unto you.Take what God has placed in you and learn to let it grow and find out about it. Study to show thyself approved a workman that need not turn back.
Faith is your anchor system. Get in His presence and you will get changed. we need to deal with the God of now. Not past or present. God's word is written to see if you've changed. Rom. 5:17.
God destined you to success. If you walk with the Lord you won't know defeat. It doesn't mean you won't be defeated, just won't know defeat. James 4:13-15.
Psalm 139:13-16 Before you were born God already had all of your days planned.
God never leads you where you thought you wanted to go because He wants you to win through Him. There's only 3 things you can take to Heaven(faith, hope and love).
And if God hasn't told you where else to be keep being where you are.You are where He wants you. There's so much to understand about God and when you think you know something, then that's when He'll show you there's so much more to this and everything about Him. He wants us to keep one foot forward and let Him lead the rest of the way. It's only by faith that God works in our lives. There's so much more. And we will learn in the weeks to come. God Loves You and wants you to come to Him today. And the way to do that is by the Holy Spirit guiding our spirits. He loves us more than we will  know. That is why He wrote the Bible. It has been written for everyone to hear and see the real Christ. He shed His blood for us and carried all our sins so we would not have to. That is the kind of love he has for us. We do not know that kind of love, but He has imparted it in our recreated spirit so we welcome Him today. The Lord said, "Blessings are coming your way. Just hold on to me. Let me guide you and take you where no man has been. Do not look to the right or the left or why this or that has not happened.
Everything will be all right if you will just take heed to what I have said and done for you, and blessings are on their way."

Faith - Lisa Patterson

Today our subject is Faith. Faith is taking God at His Word. We are to take him at face value. God has a limitless supply of resources. Faith is rooted in a trust in God's witness in scripture the way the Holy Spirit is showing us in the Word. So to grow in faith one must choose to believe and receive the witness of scripture and become loyal to it.

Choose to believe the bible as the absolute Word of God. Trust prophetic words brought by godly men and women. 11Chronicles 20:20.

The Lord said, "A wave of blessing is coming your way for your obedience. Miracles
are happening you wouldn't believe but waited for so long. A shifting has occurred in  the spirit to move things over from the old things to a new generation. Let all the old things go and the new to come. Everything is changing to shift to the new."

Faith takes God at His Word. Do not question his promises. Express gratitude for all success and favor. Neh. 2:8. The man or woman of faith will not seek recognition because he or she knows that God sees and rewards. Know that god will not forget your acts of righteousness. He will reward them openly in His time. Esther 6:1-11.

Fear is the opposite of faith: it is believing what God says is not true. God commands us not to be afraid. Faith is able to trust God and not act out in fear. Know and understand that fear shows lack of faith in God and His promises. Job 3:25. Believe that God honors faith that is stronger than death. Job 13:15.

Be consoled in the truth that God is always and everywhere present. Psalms 139:7. Also know that as you continue in Him, the Lord will certainly fulfill His purpose for you. Psalm 138:8.

Faith sees beyond trials and obstacles, knowing that God is sovereign over such and uses them to shape us and strengthen us for future battles.

Belief results in obedience. Faith determines action and produces obedience, through overcoming, becomes fruitful. Be ready to obey the words the Lord speaks to you. Know that God only continues to speak to those who do what He says. I Samuel 3:10. Incomplete obedience is the same as disobedience. Obey the Lord and do not turn away from Him. I Samuel 15: 22-23.

Also believe that where the Lord leads, He feeds. Where He guides, He provides. Choose to believe that the Lord knows how to care for His servants.

"The wind is coming your way. Let everything go so God can take care of it for you.
 Don't look at the way things are. Be still and let me show you these things up high.
 If you look at the circumstances you'll be confused. So the wind is blowing your
 way. Let me show you my love for you. Get out of the boat and believe me, says
  the Lord."

Being Sheep Of God - Lisa Patterson

Today we will study Being Sheep Of God. Because when you are God's children you are his sheep. And the Shepherd knows His sheep.

John 10:25 says my sheep hear my voice and I know them that follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand.. My Father is greater than all and has given them to me and no one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one.

John 10:1 He who does not enter the sheep fold by the door, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the door keeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice. And he calls his own sheep by name, and leads them out. When he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them, and the sheep follow him. For they know his voice. They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him, for they do not know the voice of strangers.

Jesus said again, I am the door of the sheep. All whoever come before me are thieves and robbers. But the sheep did not hear them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. I have come that they will have life.

The thieves and robbers were the Pharisees. The stranger is anyone whom the sheep do not know. Not always a thief or a robber. The sheep wouldn't follow a strangers voice even if he used the shepherd's call and imitated his tone.

A hireling is a hired shepherd, a mercenary who tends the flock for his own interest. When a hired shepherd sees a wolf coming he flees, not caring for the sheep.

Jesus had the power to voluntarily lay down his life for the sheep, but also to take it up again. No one but God can do that.

The characteristics of the sheep are: 1) they hear his voice, 2) they follow him (faith), 3)shall never perish: their eternal life can never be taken away. The Father's hand is more powerful than the enemy. For the Lord says I and my Father are one.

The Lord said, " I love you so much!  You are mine and I have special gifts for you. And I have set you aside for my own. You can only go where I send you and do what I want you to do. You have no idea what I have in store for you.

It's a long road you've traveled but you'd not want it any other way. Be settled in your spirit and situated where you are. I'll move you as I see fit. And you'll go places and do things for me. You have much favor with me. Nothing lacking! Be there for me as  you never have and let me love you."

Living Like Christ - Lisa Patterson

Today we want to study Living Like Christ. Although it is impossible in our own bodies to be like Christ, we are the image of Him when we come into Him. We are Christ's creatures in this earth if we have made Jesus Lord of our life. The way to know is to accept him as your personal Saviour and Lord of your life. That means you will have no other gods before Him. He wants you to have a one on one realationship with Him. He wants our all-in-all. We cannot do anything of our own without the Lord Jesus Christ coming in to help us. We don't realize we are helpless creatures until we need Him and everything else has failed. The devil would want to get you to sway from the Lord and nor do anything by reason of being devilish, cornered, sly,skiddish,foolish,controlling,manipulating and the list goes on. There are ways to know the devil has been in your territory and it may not look like it because he's a master of deception. It is best to stay in God's

Word and refresh and renew your mind to the light of His Word. When you do the devil can't attack you as easily as he does when you're out in the world. He knows he cannot get past God. It is better to be up under the umbrella of God and live in a shack than to have millions of dollars and be up under the world with the enemy. He only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. That is the danger of him and he doesn't always come in so fast and fearce. That's why you need to study the Word and let it get into your spirit. For the foolish things of the world will encamp you and make you think you are in the right place. But it won't be long you'll see the truth. God will show up because someone has prayed for you. There is always somebody the Lord sends to pray for you. We must realize that is how much God loves us. He gave His only begotten Son that whoever would believe on Him might be saved. He does not pull and tug you. He is a gentleman. He will never force himself on anybody and when He does come, you will know it by the peace that accompanies Him. Dear Lord Jesus, please take this time to hear our petition to come to you with our whole heart. We need you today and love you today. And want you into our lives. We humbly ask for your forgiveness of our sins.
The Lord would say , "  It is time to come to Him completely and hold His hand. The enemy would want you to think that everything is coming down on you and nothing is happening that you have been told. So be of good cheer because He is come to take you by the hand and love you like you have never been loved before. It's a new yr. and there are gifts waiting and surprises inside. So come and get yours today!"
Help us to be more like you and be the person you really created us to be. We thank you for all you have done for us and all you're about to do. Let us shine a light to the lost world to let them know about the Lord Jesus and what he has done for us. We ask for our prayers to be answered according to your perfect Will. We need you today. You died for our sins and we thank you for that. No one else would do that for us. We also know that when we die it is eternal and there's no turning back. So we ask you to help us get in with the right fellowship of people to help keep us where we need to be with you. Thank you for cleansing us of all our sins. We ask in your Holy Name, Amen. Alive In Christ - Lisa Patterson

Ephesians 2:1-6 says He made you alive who were dead to trespasses and sins. You were following the course and fashion of this world. The prince of power of the air.

Even though we were disobedient following the control of demon spirits and powers of this world He wanted you and pulled you to Him. God is so rich in His mercy and we were dead to sin. He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ.
And we did not deserve, but being saved from judgement and made partakers of Christ's salvation.
 Psalm 40:3 He has made a new song in my mouth. Many will see it and fear Oh God.

Psalm 18:46 Let God of my salvation be exalted.

Psalm 13:7-9 Raises the poor out of the dust and needy out of the ash heep.. He makes the barren woman to be a homemaker and a joyful Mother of  spiritual children. Praise Him.

Do not look to every Christian  for answers because they don't have it all. Some have to go because of too much influence. Cut off all advice that's not of God. Even every 5 fold Minister doesn't have all your answers. You will have to wait on God even though it doesn't seem to be right. It takes time. God will deliver us if we allow Him to.

He hears our cries at night and is going to deliver us from the enemy.

Psalm 55:2 Cast al your burdens on Him and He will sustain you.

The Lord is your friend and like a brother to you. He wants you to be happy and safe under His wings. He is your guide and your salvation. Come to the Lord Jesus and let Him show His love to you. He will not let you down in your hour of need.

The Lord is good to those who love Him. Let the healing balm cover you and let you know He is the only one you need today.

Eph. 2:10 We are His workmanship recreated in Christ Jesus. We are the children of the free, under grace and not the law. Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law.

He has done everything for us when He died on Calvary for your sins. Don't let the devil trick you by saying you cannot be healed, have salvation, peace, joy, happiness, love, and everything good. The enemy is sly and will put ideas in your head to let you think you are not saved and you can do whatever you want and it'll be ok.

There is nothing good about him. He's a liar from the beginning.
So let Christ come in today and feed on Hi word of salvation and how much he lives you.

Being God Minded - Lisa Patterson

By being God minded, it means to stay in the Word of God and develop the spiritual gifts necessary to be like God. Jesus came in the world as a man like us as the Son of God. We are to establish that same kind of personality but only through letting God be in you as a new creation.
The way you do that is to become born again and let Christ be in you as a new person. The old things have washed away and behold the new are in you as you become a new creation in Christ.
God cannot use you if you're in the way. He doesn't deal with doubt, fear, or being afraid of people.. Num. 2:3 If you get a word from the Lord in a time frame and it didn't come to pass, it wasn't God. You must present yourself in God's way to come to Him. Breakthrough is closer than you think! Only by faith you must labor for God and He will give you rest. Only satan brings you down. Even God rested. Obedience matters to God!
Acts 2 The channel God wants to put you on. When you have to deal with the devil you have to go to a high place. Must have a personal relationship with God for Him to deal with you.
Habbakkah said to write your vision down and expect it to work. Make it plain. It was the Word that formed you. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.
If you have perfect peace nothing can upset you. It's only a season right now. Peace is there and coming. We are a spoken seed.
Prov. 16:7 cause your enemies to have peace with you. Liberty is the Lord. Praise Him all the time! God said how can I curse what hasn't been cursed?
Isaiah 54:17 weapon formed against you shall not prosper. Let God be God. The devil always comes to God's children to see what they'll do. Give it back to God!
The Lord said, "I'm just beginning to do that which I said I would do. Waiting time is not wasted time. There's a building up and a flushing out and a cleaning out of that which has been polluted to make the new way clean. It is well with thee. Much resting needed to be done to complete the task I called you to do.
It has not been easy though I called you anyway. But it is all taken care of. Nothing to worry about. Keep one foot forward and I'll lead the rest of the way."
