Just wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hoping this will be the best year yet. The Lord is good to those who love him and takes care of them. For this is a new year and has plenty stored inside for you. So take advantage of the gifts the Lord is blessing us with as He has done a new thing in our hearts.
The Lord said He is opening doors that have been closed for a very long time. And He is taking off scales on the eyes of the blind so they may see again. Also there's a new challenge to the ones who want to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For His mercy endureth forever and ever and is new every morning.
The season is about Him and not us and what we want. It's not about gifts, but that is from Him too. For He loves us with an everlasting love that we do not know and is forever. So come unto Him all ye that labor and are heavy laden and He will give you rest. For this is the best time of the year if we will enjoy what the Lord has for us and let Him be first in our hearts. Today is the day of salvation.
So come unto me I hear him say and let me love you and give you that rest you need and desire. Christmas comes but once a year. We need to be thankful for what we have and not be thinking of ourselves. Let Him in your heart today. This has been a trying year and we know not what the next year will be.
