Col. 3:5 Says therefore put to death your members which are on earth. Fornication, uncleanness, passion, evil desire and covetousness, which is idolatry. And now you are to put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy language out of your mouth. Do not lie to one another, since you have put off the old man with his deeds.
And to have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created you. There is neither Greek, Jew, Barbarian, circumcised, or uncircumcised, slave nor free. But Christ is all and in all.
The new man should be as Holy and beloved,vs.12.Put on tender mercies forgiving one another if anyone has a complaint against another, even as Christ forgave you, you must also.
Daniel 9:9 says to the Lord our God belong mercy and forgiveness though we have rebelled against Him. It is not what we want to do but what He has given us to do. We must forgive to go on in our lives no matter how small or large. We were bought with such a price that cannot be matched by man. We must obey.
When you recommit your life to Christ your sins are forgiven. John 3:38 says the wrath of God is on you if you have not come to Christ. Proverbs 27 says now is the accepted tome for Salvation. You do not know the day nor the hour the Lord will come, so it is not wise to play around with eternity. make that decision now. No man knows the day nor the hour or how long your life will be.
Gal. 5:13 Serve one another through love. God can hear us. He's right there. We are seated with Him. Search the scriptures- they won't fall in your lap. It's a living word-not dead. We should be copying what Jesus does. We should be looking at problems the way Jesus does. He is higher than the problem. Look to Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. He is risen and is there to forgive and help you out of your mess. Take heed and listen to what He is saying today because He loves you. Let God Love You --Lisa Patterson

Our title today is to "Let God Love You." He wants to have our attention all the time and we do not give Him our undivided attention. He loves us so much that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever will come to Him they might have life and have life more abundantly. We need to give God the attention He deserves because He made us in His own image. He bore our sins and weaknesses and sickness so that we would all come to His side and be made whole. He loves us so much and yet we give more attention to games and T.V.
He is a jealous God and we will be held accountable for our deeds and actions. John3:16 says for God so loved the world that whoever believes that His Son died on the Cross and rose again the third day for you. It is a simple prayer in you heart that you believe and pray that prayer and Jesus will come into your heart to live. He will blot out your tears, your past and mistakes. All because his blood was shed for you and me. And that is what He wants to do for you today.
Make it right with Him, as there is no other way to Heaven except to call on the name of the Lord. Eternity is forever and there is no turning back. Hell was only made for the devil, not for God's people. And with prayer we can do anything and even turn this country around.
Our mistakes are that we don't spend time with the Father. He had answers for us that we look other places for, and yet He's trying to get our attention. Sometimes we'll feel ill or our finances will be in trouble etc. and it's not because of the Lord. It's because we don't spent quality time with Him and let Him give us the answer to our questions.
Please be sensitive to the Lord as He is to us. He only wants our time. We would save money, our health would be better, our families would come together and we would have peace in our hearts. The Word says to love the Lord with all your heart, all your strength, and all your mind. Be greatful today that with His love you won't go to hell, but the the peaceful place called Heaven where He is and the angels worship night and day and protect you from the enemy.

Sinners - Lisa Patterson

John 9:31 says God does not hear sinners. But while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. Romans 5:8. Christ demonstrates His love for us in that while we were yet sinners, He died for us. Having now been justified by His blood we shall be saved from wrath through Him. If we were sinners we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life. And then we have received the reconciliation. Psalm 23:17 says to let not your heart envy sinners, but be zealous for the fear of the Lord all the day. Surely there is a hereafter and your hope will not be cut off.
Do not mix with winebibbers, or with gluttonous eaters of meat. The drunkard and the glutton will come to poverty, and drowsiness will clothe a man with rags.
LIsten to your Father who has begotten you, and do not despise your Mother when she is old. Proverbs 24 says do not desire to be with evil men. For their heart devises violence and lips talk of trouble. Vs. 21 says to fear the Lord and the King. Do not associate with those given to change. Their calamity will rise suddenly and you do not know the ruin those can bring. Vs. 19 says do not fret because of evildooers. For their will be no respect for the evil man. Vs. 25 Those who rebuke the wicked will have delight. And a good blessing will come upon them.
Do not say I will do him just as he has done to me. The Lord will render to the man according to his work. The field of the lazy man and man devoid of understanding was all over grown with thorns. The only concern the lazy have is for a little sleep.
Proverbs 26:17 He who passes by and meddles in a quarrel not his own is like one who takes a dog by the ears. As charcoal is to burning coals and wood to fire, so is a contentious man to kindle strife.
Proverbs 29:7 Righteous people are concerned for the poor and help them. The wicked do not even consider them. Scoffers set a city aflame, but wise men turn away wrath. A fool vents all his feelings, but a wise man holds them back.
So chose you this day whom you will serve. There is no turning back when it is all over. You either go to Heaven or Hell. Sinners are not answered by God unless they are trying to come to Him. Don't choose the wrong path today. Choose life and life more abundantly. There is no turning back when the time comes. And the Bible says now is the time to come to Him. Turn away from your sins today and let Christ take control of your life this day.

God's Sheep - Lisa Patterson

Today we will be studying about God's Sheep. The Shepherd knows His Sheep. John10:25 says My Sheep hear my voice and I know them and they follow me. I give them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall anyone snatch them out of my hand. My Father is greater than all and given them to me. And no one is able to snatch them out of my Father's hand. For I and the Father are one.
John 10:1 He who does not enter the sheep fold by the door but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. But he who enters by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To Him the door keeper opens, and the sheep hear his voice and He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out. When he brings out his own sheep, he goes before them and the sheep follow Him, for they know His voice. They will by no means follow a stranger, but will flee from him. For they do not know the voice of strangers,(v 7). Jesus said again, I am the door of the sheep. All whoever come before me are thieves and robbers. But the sheep did not hear them and I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. I have come that they will have life.
The thieves and robbers were the Pharises. The stranger is anyone whom the sheep do not know, but not always a thief and a robber. Sheep won't follow a strangers voice, even if he used the shepherd's call and imitated his tone. A heirling is a hired shepherd, a mercenery who tends the flock for his won interest. When a hired shepherd sees a wolf coming, he flees, not caring about the sheep.
Jesus had the power to voluntarily lay down His life for the sheep (v 11,15,17), but also to take it up again. No one but God can do that.
The characteristics of sheep are (1- they hear his voice (v4), (2 they follow Him (faith), (3 they shall never perish. Their eternal life can never be taken away. The Father's hand is more powerful than the enemy. And the scripture says I and my Father are one (Jesus). So today take a look and see if you and Jesus are one and the same, and if you are truely His sheep. He loves everyone and wants us all to come into Him today and take that step of faith and belong to Him.

Listening To The Teaching Of God-Lisa Patterson

Isaiah 28:23 says to give ear and hear my voice. Listen and hear my speech. Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow? Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods? When he has leveled it's surface does he not plant the wheat in rows, the barley in it's appointed place? For he instructs him in right judgement. His God teaches him.
The Lord of host is wonderful in counsel and excellent in guidance. Isaiah 28:14 says scornful men are worse than fools, beyond choosing what is bad, they despise what is good.
Isaiah 28:16 is a Cornerstone in Zion. "Therefore says the Lord God, behold I lay in Zion a stone for a foundation. A field stone, a precious cornerstone, a sure foundation." Who believes will not act hastily. Also I will make justice the measuring line and righteousness the plummet. The hail will sweep away the refuge of lies, and the waters will overflow the hiding place. Your covenant with death will be annulled. And your agreement with Sheol will not stand.
You were made to be controlled by God, not man or the enemy. We were only made for God and for His pleasure alone. If you go the way of the Egyptians, you will be controlled by the devil. Give your whole life to Christ or you will not be completely happy. You may do this or that for a while, but then you will have to come back to what he's called you to do. Your agreement with Egypt will not stand. For the bed is too short to stretch out on. And the covering so narrow that one cannot wrap himself in it.
The Lord will rise up and he will do his work, His awesome work, and bring to pass his act, his unusual act. Do not be mockers. lest your bonds be made strong. Do what the Lord says. Let him dominate your life. You will be miserable without Him. Do not let the devil lead you astray. He will intimidate and harden your heart! Your conscious will no longer bother you as your heart continues to harden. Then you will fall into his trap. It's a dangerous thing to harden your heart. There may not be another time to come to Him. You can't "fit or belong" except in Him. The time to come to Him is now. Living By Faith - Lisa Patterson
Habakkah 2:4 we must live by faith. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. That means you can't see what all is in store for you but you must have faith through Christ. Matthew 6:30 talks about Oh ye of little faith. If God so clothed the grass of the field, which today is and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, Oh you of little faith? Do not worry saying what shall we eat or drink or what shall we wear. For your Heavenly Father knows what you have need of. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things will be added unto you. Do not worry about tomorrow, for it will worry about it's own things. Matthew 14:31 Peter walked on the water but when he saw the wind was boisterous, he became afraid and began to sink. And he cried out saying, Lord save me! Jesus then stretched out his hand and caught him and said "Oh you of little faith, why did you doubt?" And when they got in the boat the wind ceased. Those who were in the boat came and worshipped Him saying Jesus truely is the Son of God. Matthew 15:28 A woman from Canan came from Tyre and Sidon crying out to Jesus saying, "Have mercy on me, Oh Lord, for my daughter is severely demon possessed." But he didn't answer and the deciples came and urged him saying, "send her away she cries out for us." But he said, I was not sent except for the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then she worshipped him saying, "Lord help me." He said it is not good to take the children's bread and throw it to the dogs. She said, "Lord even the little dogs eat the crumbs which fall from the the master's table. Jesus answered saying, "Great is your faith. Let it be to you as you desire." And her daughter was healed from that hour. Matthew 17:20 A boy is healed of epilepsy. The boy was brought to the deciples but they couldn't heal him. Jesus told them it was because of their unbelief. If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed you shall say unto this mountain, move from here to there and it will be done. Nothing shall be impossible for you. However, this kind of demon only comes out through prayer and fasting. I Corinthians 2:5 says that you faith shoud not be in the wisdom of men but the power of God. Galatians 3:14 says the Law was our tutor to bring us to Christ, that we may be justified by faith. But after faith has come, we are no longer under a tutor. We must live by faith and not by sight, The way to faith is by the reading and studying of the Word of God. Mark 11:23-24 says whosoever says to this mountain to be removed and cast into the sea and does not doubt in his heart, he shall have whatsoever he says. Galatians 3:2 Did you receive the spirit by the works of the law or by the hearing of faith? Therefore know that only those who are of faith are the sons of Abraham. Hebrews 10:38 says the just shall live by faith. Hebrews 11:1 says faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 12:2 Jesus is the author and finisher of our faith. James 1:3 says your faith produces patience and that is needed to fulfill the race. Faith is a measure we are all given and we must use it to the best of our ability. The Seven Laws of Success - Lisa Patterson

Today we will study the Seven Laws of Success.
1. Law of Difference- decides who persues you. That is why God made us all individuals. We were all made different for a reason. He didn't want us to be robots and so He gave us a will. He uses our conscious, Holy Spirit to teach us. Not sickness and disease.
2. Law of the Mind- Your mind needs a goal(a purpose). Matt. 1:7-9. The mind is given to serve you, not master you. You must have a hero, someone you'll be like. Eph. 1:17. The mind needs pictures. Meditation is talking to yourself. Rom. 10:10 says faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. The more creative you are the more trouble you will have with your mind. Nobody feels what you feel. Psalm 1:19 speaking God's word is strength.
3.Law of Recognition-is to see who it is(what is in you). Only the most passionate see the difference in you from another. To see the difference in you that no one else sees is recognition . Most people can't see through others to tell what their difference is. That is why God is so awesome that He would make you the way you are.
4.Law of Two- Creates instant multiplication. There's somebody who sees in you what you don't see. The difference between seasons is a person in your life. Two are better than one. A person can create your season. You only need one person in your life to get you to the next season. And you are only 4 people away from anybody on earth. One person cannot multiply.One puts a thousand to flight, but two puts 10,000 to flight. Two are always better than one and that's why God put Eve in the garden with Adam.
5.Law of Place- God made places before He made people. Where you are matters just as much as what you are. When you are where you are supposed to be there are no rivals. Your assignment is geographical. Everytime God talks in the Bible He tells where they are to go. If there's no honor where you are then go where you are celebrated and not tolerated. No one can compete with you if you are where you are supposed to be. Your genious emerges. Provision is the confirmation of where you are to be. Your money will be where you are supposed to be.
6.Law of Honor- Your future is determined by whom you have chosed to honor. Duet.5 Honor is the seed for access. Adaptation is the proof of honor. If you change what you know you change what you do. There is only one reason America will fail. And it is not the Tailiban or any other conflict. It will be because it doesn't honor the God who made us. Honor protects, corrects, submits, and yields. Your reaction of instruction from your boss is your code of honor. Taking care of an elderly parent is proof of honor. It is your reaction to pain and weakness of another is your code of honor.
7. Law of the Seed- Forgiveness is the seed for relationship. Gratitude is the seed for more. Harvest from the seed is the proof of obedience. Anything you give up for the Lord you wil get back 100 fold Jesus said and life everlasting. Expectation is added to your giving. Without faith it is impossible to please God. My seed decides what I am sowing. If I sow anger i will get anger. If I sow love I will receive love. God loves us so much that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him and that He sent His son to die for us so that we might live will be saved.
