Being God Minded - Lisa Patterson

By being God minded, it means to stay in the Word of God and develop the spiritual gifts necessary to be like God. Jesus came in the world as a man like us as the Son of God. We are to establish that same kind of personality but only through letting God be in you as a new creation.
The way you do that is to become born again and let Christ be in you as a new person. The old things have washed away and behold the new are in you as you become a new creation in Christ.
God cannot use you if you're in the way. He doesn't deal with doubt, fear, or being afraid of people.. Num. 2:3 If you get a word from the Lord in a time frame and it didn't come to pass, it wasn't God. You must present yourself in God's way to come to Him. Breakthrough is closer than you think! Only by faith you must labor for God and He will give you rest. Only satan brings you down. Even God rested. Obedience matters to God!
Acts 2 The channel God wants to put you on. When you have to deal with the devil you have to go to a high place. Must have a personal relationship with God for Him to deal with you.
Habbakkah said to write your vision down and expect it to work. Make it plain. It was the Word that formed you. In the beginning was the Word and the Word was God.
If you have perfect peace nothing can upset you. It's only a season right now. Peace is there and coming. We are a spoken seed.
Prov. 16:7 cause your enemies to have peace with you. Liberty is the Lord. Praise Him all the time! God said how can I curse what hasn't been cursed?
Isaiah 54:17 weapon formed against you shall not prosper. Let God be God. The devil always comes to God's children to see what they'll do. Give it back to God!
The Lord said, "I'm just beginning to do that which I said I would do. Waiting time is not wasted time. There's a building up and a flushing out and a cleaning out of that which has been polluted to make the new way clean. It is well with thee. Much resting needed to be done to complete the task I called you to do.
It has not been easy though I called you anyway. But it is all taken care of. Nothing to worry about. Keep one foot forward and I'll lead the rest of the way."

Staying On Track - Lisa Patterson

Today we are going to study Staying On Track. And what that means is to not get off the Word of God. And let Him guide you all the way. We cannot let the pressures of life keep us down and unfocused. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly.
James 4:7 says therefore submit yourself to the Lord, resist the devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands and purify your hearts. A doubleminded man is unstable in all his ways and should not think that he will receive anything from the Lord. God resists the proud. You can't think higher than you are. Only the Lord Jesus can bring you up to that place in Him to keep you stable.
It is very important to not get off track lest the devil deceive you and take you to places that seem alright for a while. But after awhile, you'll find out they were not God's plan for you. You can be in God's permissive will or His perfect will. And if you get in the permissive will, that's when the devil can attack you. It may seem right for a while but then you'll get attacked. The difference is in God's army you will have a battle, but He is always there to protect you.
And He lets the trials and tribulations of life to bring you back to where you need Him all the time. Unless you are washed by the blood you aren't saved. So be sure you have Jesus in your heart. The devil goes around like a lion seeking whom he may devour. And he is sly and you won't always know if it's him. He's a wolf in sheep's clothing. Do not be deceived, for God is not mocked. Whatever a man sows he will also reap.
Do not let anyone control you. For that is a demonic spirit. Be who you are. Examine yourself. Make sure you are Christ's. Don't try to be like anyone else. God did not make copies. You are a unique person and there is no one like you. He doesn't have a zerox machine. There's no such thing as a clone in God's Book.
I Cor. 3:16-17 You are the temple of God which is Holy. What you practice will be no matter if you're saved or not. So don't dabble in other stuff that's not God. It may seem right to start but will get you off track. Then you'll have to get back on track again. And to sway over to the left or right is harder to get back than staying on track. So let Him lead you by staying on the right track today. He loves you with an everlasting love no matter what you've done or what kind of sin that has been committed. He's no respecter or persons.

Getting In the Spirit - Lisa Patterson

Today we are going to discuss Getting In The Spirit. So many people are going to organized Church and do not know how to "Get In The Spirit."
The Lord wants more from us than just to go to Church and come home and the same thing all week long until the next Sun. The Bible teaches to stay in the spirit. The way you do that is to be born again and have a new recreated spirit on the inside of you. Staying in the Word of God will help you to stay in the Spirit.
It is so easy to put the Bible down until a crisis arrives and then you open it up to find where you can get an answer you need from. God wants us to want Him all the time, not just when a crisis happens or when we need Him. But to let Him speak to us is such an awesome experience.
Philip. 4:8 whatever is pure, holy, true, of sound doctrine, let us think on these things. Do not let your mind think on the things that will clog up your mind. No bad words should come out of your hearts(mouths). For the heart is a deceitful thing without the Lord changing you from the inside out. There is no way you can change yourself. Only He can do that for you. For without the Lord Jesus coming into our hearts we will not be saved and all would perish. People are perishing everyday even though God chose you to come to Him and let Him love you and wash your sins away. It is only by the shed blood of Jesus that we are saved from our sins. So when we come into Him and His sweet spirit and get to know Him our minds begin to want to change. We are not of ourselves the Bible says, when we come into Him and let Him save us. So, repent today and let Jesus come inot your heart, soul, and mind and cleanse you of your sins. Then you can get in the spirit like He so desires and let Him talk to you. To let you know how much He loves you and died for you so you may have life and have it more abundantly.
Be still and know that I am the Lord, He says. It is by grace that you have received me and by grace that He died for you so you could live a full life in Him, not of your own. For you cannot live a life of your own anymore when you get saved. It is He living in you. Their is no other way except through the Lord Jesus Christ.
So be filled with the Spirit today by calling on Him. The Lord doesn't have any other way to be saved and get in the Spirit. Today is the day to come to salvation. Be at peace and rest with the Lord Jesus inside of you. There is no rest without Him. It is wonderful to get in the Spirit with the Lord and as you do each day will be stronger.

The Fruits Of The Spirit - Lisa Patterson

Matt. 3:10 Says every tree that does not bear good fruit will be cut down and thrown into the fire.
Matt. 7:15 To beware of false prophets who come to you in sheep's clothing, but are inwardly ravenous wolves. And Matt. 26:29 says for to everyone who has, more will be given, and he will have abundance. But to him who does not have, even that will be taken away.
Luke 1:42 When Elizabeth heard the greetings of Mary that the babe leaped into her womb and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit. Then she said blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb.
John 15:2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit He takes away. And every branch that bears fruit He prunes that it may bear more fruit.
Romans 6:22 But now having been set free from sin and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end everlasting life. For the wages of sin is death. But the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus.
Gal. 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law. And those who are in Christ have cruicified the flesh with it's passions and desires. For he who sows to the flesh reaps corruption. But he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life. And let us not grow weary in well doing. For we will reap if we faint not.
Rev. 22:14 Blessed are those who do His commandments that they may have life and have it more abundantly. And that they may have the right to the tree of life and may enter through the gates into the city.
We must understand that the lord loves us with an everlasting life and that is why he would prune us to make us be more like Him. Jesus is the way the truth and the life and no man comes to the Father except by Him.

Merry Christmas! - Lisa Patterson

Just wishing everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Hoping this will be the best year yet. The Lord is good to those who love him and takes care of them. For this is a new year and has plenty stored inside for you. So take advantage of the gifts the Lord is blessing us with as He has done a new thing in our hearts.
The Lord said He is opening doors that have been closed for a very long time. And He is taking off scales on the eyes of the blind so they may see again. Also there's a new challenge to the ones who want to enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His name. For His mercy endureth forever and ever and is new every morning.
The season is about Him and not us and what we want. It's not about gifts, but that is from Him too. For He loves us with an everlasting love that we do not know and is forever. So come unto Him all ye that labor and are heavy laden and He will give you rest. For this is the best time of the year if we will enjoy what the Lord has for us and let Him be first in our hearts. Today is the day of salvation.
So come unto me I hear him say and let me love you and give you that rest you need and desire. Christmas comes but once a year. We need to be thankful for what we have and not be thinking of ourselves. Let Him in your heart today. This has been a trying year and we know not what the next year will be. Happy Thanksgiving - Lisa Patterson

Today we should be thankful for all the blessings God has given to us. So with this New Year coming up we should look to our Holy Father and be thankful for all the many blessings He has given us. We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. Enter into His gates with thanksgiving and into His courts with praise. Be thankful unto Him and bless His Holy name. For he loves us with an everlasting love that no man can understand. We come before you today to offer praises unto you our Lord and King. We thank you for all you have enabled us to do here on earth. Heaven above awaits us coming at the Gates with the ArchAngel Michael. "Step into the Pearly gates and see what I have prepared for those who have waited and stood and stood for my presence. I will show myself to you and make myself known to you, says the Lord of Host. Be still and know that I am the Lord who healeth thee. For I love you with an everlasting love and no man can take that away from me.
For you are my people, my chosen people and nothing can take away that which I have set before you and prepared for. You don't know the high price I have paid for you to come unto me. So step aside from your busy life and let me talk to you and fellowship with you and let me tell you just how much I care. The devil will flee in my name if you will just stay with me and let me do that already prepared for you."
Please lets go before the Lord with gladness and not give the devil control and credit for the messes in our lives and all the stuff our children do. Come to the Lord today and let Him cleanse you white as snow and make you new again.

Hope - Lisa Patterson

Hope I Peter5:6 says Lift you up and humble yourself. Cast all your cares on the Lord(toss, sling and handle) your burdens to the Lord. (Cares means storms in life). Storms going on so long you can't see where you are going. He wants us to trust Him. Luke 24:1 the woman went to the tomb and found it was empty. He was beaten and bruised and had done nothing wrong. We can win our battles because He has overcome. Romans 6 God wants us to live right, so He gave us righteousness. We have freedon from the past and the guilt from it,
The Resurrection provides a living hope. I Peter 1:3 says we have hope because of what Christ did for us. When you walk through the valley don't camp out there!
Faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things not seen. Eph. 2:12 says you have no hope if you don't have Him. People are hopeless. Without hope you'll do crazy things. Hope is an anchor. Christ stood in our place when He didn't deserve it. II Cor. 2:11 Hope always leads to triump in Christ (overcomers) in Christ. You'll always triumph - wherever you are now will not always be where you'll wind up as long as you are in Christ.
Don't bare things or emotions but in Him! Heb.6 says do not become sluggish but to imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promise. A cheerful steadfastness brings hope and faith that God will do that which He said He'd do.
Strength is being consistant. Success in the kingdom doesn't happen overnight. You must depend on grace that's in Christ. You cannot earn anything in God. He did it for you. It's not based on what you've done or can do. Grace brings you to a rest in Him. Your part is just to believe and His is to to do it. Grace allows us to reign in life.
Philip 4:12 says I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. II Tim 3:10-12 out of all persecutions and afflictions Paul had at Antioch, Christ delivered them all. It will come if you're in Christ. John 8:31 If you abide in me and my words abide in you, you can ask what you will and it will be done unto you. The truth will set you free. Just knowing these truths will set you free. But you must use them in your everyday walk with Him.
